A US military aircraft F-16 crashed during a training flight in South Korea.
According to the British news agency, the accident happened on Monday near the US Air Force Base in Gunson. A US F-16 fighter jet crashed during a training flight on Monday, but the pilot survived. A spokesman for South Korea’s defense ministry did not immediately confirm the report.
It should be noted that about two weeks ago, an American military plane with eight people on board crashed in the sea off western Japan. One crew member was killed in the accident while the condition of two others was said to be unclear.
Earlier in September this year, a stealth warplane worth millions of dollars of the US Army disappeared, which appealed to the public for help in its search.
Officials described the incident as an “accident” and said the F-35 fighter jet was flying in the state of South Carolina when the pilot ejected in an emergency situation.
It should be noted that the incidents of American military helicopter crashes have also been frequent, after which the Chief of Staff of the Army ordered the pilots to be grounded in April.
